PG Industries (Zimbabwe) Limited

PG Industries (Zimbabwe) Limited (PG Industries or PGIZ) started its operations in the country in Bulawayo in 1948. It began as a merchandiser of glass, timber and hardware products. It was listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (then Rhodesia Stock Exchange) in 1969. Over the years it has diversified into a wide range of products and services to include timber, boards, hardware, plumbing, glass, cement products and value added products.

Being in the construction sector PG has grown to be a key player on the national economic development. PG competencies lies in the processing and distribution of building materials from the ground up (start to finish).

With over 70 years of experience, PG Industries has erected trusses and tiles in commercial and residential properties in Zimbabwe and the region and these have remained standing for decades and hence the motto “TRUSTED FOR GENERATIONS”.

PG Industries subsidiaries include: PG Centre; PG Timbers, PG Glass, PG Steel, PG Sawmill, PG Paint and Zimtile.

The current PG Brands trade under the PG Centre name. PG Centre is Zimbabwe’s One-stop Building Solution Centre offering a new life style shopping experience and selection from a wide variety of quality products.
