For more than a century, Hwange Colliery Company Limited has been providing coal to Zimbabwe for its domestic and global energy needs. The company is ISO certified in multiple standards through the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ), including Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management Systems (14001:2015), and Occupational Health and Management Systems (45001: 2018). The company takes pride in its sustainable coal mining practices. Zambia, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia, Mozambique, and South Africa are some of our regional markets. We search for, extract, refine, and market coal. Our goal is to take advantage of investment opportunities and match them with the short-, medium-, and long-term goals of our company.
